Large Item Claim Tags

We continue to improve efficiencies and have decided to implement "Large Item Claim Tags" as a solution for managing large and security items.



1.    Do the consignors fill out the large item claim tags? If so, when?

 Yes, consignors fill out the tags during drop off. There will be a Large Item check in station that is manned by Volunteers that fill out as well as assist and train the consignor with completing the process. Most large items (strollers, car seats, etc will need disinfected and tagged afterwards). A worker or two at the station then takes the items and places in the designated sale areas.

2.   Do consignors attach their regular consignor tag to the large item tag?

Yes, consignors need to have the same barcode as entered into the consignor portal.  Attaching the tag accomplishes this- staple all 4 corners of the 3x5 tag.

3. How do I know what items need a "Large item Claim Tag"?

Any item that is larger (strollers, car seats, cribs, bassinets, bouncy seats, etc) or high dollar items (DVD players, ipads, etc).  If you are unsure, just ask any volunteer at drop off.

4. What if a shopper wants to purchase a large item?

The shopper will simply tear off the bottom portion and keep with that tag until checkout.
